Today at preschool during chapel time Mrs. Hange, the director, was talking about how God made everyone special and knew them before they were born from their mommy's tummy. Lydia then raised her hand in front of all the preschool kids and proceeded to tell Mrs. Hange, "I was born out of my Chinese mommy's tummy." Mrs. Hange said, "Yes you were. Did you know I have a little girl who was born out of her Russian mommy's tummy."

Ahhhh, the bond that we adoptive mommies have. How very wonderful to make Lydia understand that lots of kids are born out of one mommy's tummy and are loved forever by their forever mommy.
Perfect. We've GOTCHA! :-)

Oh, your kids are too cute!! That is so perfect that your daughter said that, to that teacher who happened to have had a similar experience! (how's that for a run on sentence:)
