Fun little game and more

Tonight we played Cranium Whounhoo (?sp). Since the kiddies are too young to read by themselves and didn't have any idea what some of the things on the cards were, we had to adapt it to fit our children's young ages. Basically we just put a stack of cards with familiar items on them in the middle and teamed up 1parent/1child and then each team would draw 3 cards and from those 3 cards we'd choose which one was the favorite of those 3 for one of the team members on the other team. If we were right we'd get a chip. If not, we didn't. It was so fun and Jake was really taking the perspective of the person we were choosing for. The last one, for example, the cards were golf, onions, and basketball. Jake himself likes basketball the best, but we were to choose Daddy's favorite of those 3. Daddy's favorite is golf, hands down. And, Jake knew that and chose that one. Very cool.

He has also been very big into telling Lydia all about what's important--Mr. Know-it-all! ;-) He also is being a great big brother telling her and showing her how to do all sorts of things.
